But u’re out of shape..u haven't practised enough... u’ve been eating junk food.... u slept late...u haven't even bought the correct running shoes..
Do u think u'l make it to the finish line, let alone the first quarter??
Likewise for the blessed month of Ramadaan, it's of utmost importance for u to prepare Physically, Mentally & Spiritually. U have to train in advance. If u don’t train beforehand, u’re going to struggle, & it’s going to be a lot harder to do well or even finish.
Start to exercise those Ramadan muscles right away… make up missed fasts, start rebuilding ur relationship with Qur'ān, start weaning urself off Tv shows, bad food & drinks..slowly & gently…
It’s important to start slowly & work ur way up. Like this, u won't burn urself up & feel demotivated on the last stretch.
Take all ur preparations at ur own pace, be gentle with urself & celebrate ur efforts & successes.
If u haven’t touched Qur'aan in a year, that’s ok. Start today. Aиϑ if u only read 1 āyah.. that’s ok. It’s one āyah more than u read yesterday & that makes it something to celebrate, Alhamdullilah.
Remember to use ur time wisely in preparation for the remaining ±20 days left to make this Ramadaan ur best ever. Don't neglect these days. May The Almighty Be ur Helper. Aameen Aameen
